‘My name is Daniel Lugo, and I believe in Fitness.’
I am Sarah-Louise.
This is my site!

‘SarahLouiseFF.com’ has been created to combine all of my social media platforms and to continue to promote myself and what I love doing. My blogs contain reviews of anything from supplements to foods, my training regime and nutrition. And the FF? Well that is something bestowed upon me and my username courtesy of Twitter in 2010.
To give you a brief overview, I am an Emergency Department Nurse working in a busy A&E by day (and night shifts) and with my remaining time, well I’m either in the gym, Tesco food section, or my bed.
I was given my first gym membership at the age of 14 when cardio and ‘Slimfast’ shakes were my daily rituals. I realised the error of my ways thankfully and began weight training around the age of 19. By 21, I realised I could no longer get away with eating what I wanted ‘because I’d earned that sweet and sour chicken with fried rice after that session..’ and began taking my nutrition seriously. It was then I learnt that I am the owner of the typical Endomorph physique, therefore have to monitor closely what goes in my mouth and the amount of it.
Sadly, there is still and always will be the naturally chubby kid.. genetics inside me!
I’ve met a lot of wonderful people along the way, who have gone beyond the role of coaches and friends to advise and help me to get to where I am today; some of which led me to my decision to compete in a Bikini Competition!
Stupidly/Cleverly, however you choose to look at it, I did my preparation for the competition during my final few months of my BSc (Hons) Nursing Degree. This meant 40 hour working weeks on a busy Renal/Dialysis unit, final exams, a research dissertation proposal on ultra violet radiation and corporate interviews alongside twice a day weight training sessions, plus cardio… all on NO CARBS!!
However! I am an extremely determined person that does not believe in excuses. If you want something, you’ll find a way to make it happen.. which meant for me, being up at 4:30AM for cardio sessions before a 12-14 hour shift, in tears during leg sessions and hiding regularly in hospital linen cupboards to fit my meals in.
Competing for the United Kingdoms Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation came and went. I had a brilliant time and learnt a lot. It led me to some fantastic opportunities thus allowing me to progress in the right direction, including interviews on my transformation with the Daily Mail, newspapers and several online articles for Female Body Building sites released in America.
My biggest accomplishment to date – apart from transforming my physique – is recently becoming PUBLISHED in my first Fitness Magazine, ‘Train’ with not only a two page spread but also a feature on the front cover..
I have also now completed a Diploma in Sports Nutrition, however, I am no Personal Trainer and certainly no expert but I love my food, fitness and being in a position to assist people with this. I know what I know today through much trial and error. I also understand what it is like to be uncomfortable in your own skin, therefore, I am contactable through my site (links to my Facebook and Twitter) to offer any help, tips and tricks that I can and tailored Nutrition plans.
I now focus mainly on Fitness Shoots which I believe is where my passion lies working with a vast range of different Photographs to promote the Fitness industry.
I work alongside the The Meat Man (I will go into a little more detail in my blogs and attach some links) as a Sponsored Athlete, we attend events such as BodyPower and the SFN Expo promoting real, organic produce from ‘Home-Grown’ butchers.
Finally, I have onto Competing as a Figure or Muscle Model Competitor last year and early this year, placing 3rd in the European Championships and having a bit of fun in doing so and also learning a lot about my body and the PROCESS.
Thank you for visiting!
